  • The MSc in International Business programme has been very successful. Since the start of the programme in 1996, almost 400 students from more than 40 countries all over the world were awarded a degree of one of the participating institutions: University of Groningen, Stirling University, or CERAM Sophia Antipolis European School of Business. Some 60 students are expected to graduate in September 2005. The programme has played an important role in the internationalisation strategies of the institutions involved.

However, with the adoption of the Anglo-Saxon Bachelor/Master system in Dutch higher education,  the regular programme in international business  - which used to be open only to Dutch students - has now developed into a new programme in International Business & Management. This IB&M programme offers both a Master and a Bachelor programme, is taught entirely in English and is open to international students.

Given this development, the board of the Faculty of Management & Organization decided to withdraw from the IBP Consortium. Following this decision, the consortium partners decided to dissolve the European Academic Consortium for Management Studies per September 2005.
This means that from September 2005 onwards, the MSc programme in International Business of the European Academic Consortium for Management Studies as such will no longer be offered.
Instead, each of the institutions will offer its own international business programme.

If you wish to apply for any of these programmes, you will need to contact the institutions directly.
